Dear Friends,
What better way to celebrate the birthdays of both our patron saint, St Vincent de Paul (24th April), and our founder, Blessed Frédéric Ozanam (23rd April), than by gathering the SVP family to share Vincentian stories, build friendships and have fun together. When we think of the SVP family, we think of our adult members from your local parish Conference, Mini Vinnies in primary schools, Youth SVP in secondary schools and 1833 Young adult groups. We would love you to consider hosting an event at school, or in the parish, to gather the SVP family together. You might have a tea party, lunchtime event or a gathering after Mass. Your group could plan this event, with your guidance, during one of their meetings. If you would like to invite your regional SVP Staff for your diocese, we would love to help you connect with them. Just contact us at [email protected] You might decide to use this event as a time to fundraise for the SVP. Why not get your group to see what other ideas they can come up with for the event? We hope you have great fun planning this event and gathering the SVP family.
