Session 1: All are Welcome
This session is an introduction to the SVP and to our mission of SEE, THINK and DO. This session culminates in an opportunity for meaningful action.
Session 2: We are Family
This session is an introduction to the Vincentian Family. Members of the group will begin to explore and understand their own motivations and hopes. Through exploring the lives of the founders and patrons the aim is participants will see how they fit into the rich tapestry that is the Vincentian family. Session 3 - What is Poverty?
In this session Young People explore what Poverty means. We consider how poverty might present itself in the local communities and the group are challenged to ask and listen to the local community and their needs.
Session 4: Our Values
This session deep dives into our Catholic Social Teaching and introduces participants to some of the stories of the SVP.
Session 5: Fundraising
All our work in underpinned by the generosity of those who support our work. . The essence of what we do is face-to-face contact and spending time with people is our greatest gift – alongside the vital practical and financial help they need. Treating everyone with the respect they deserve, no matter their background or faith. This session is a practical one and an opportunity to develop some event planning skills.
