Year of Jubilee- Pilgrims of Hope

Every 25 years, we have a Jubilee Year, a moment of significance in the Church when we refocus and open ourselves to special graces. This Jubilee Year is entitled ‘Pilgrims of Hope’ and starts on 24th December 2024, going through to 14th December 2025.The SVP wants to journey with you and your students throughout the Jubilee Year. Providing a Pilgrim Pack for all schools in the autumn, we hope that our resources will provide opportunities for your students to reflect on the needs of their community, consider a merciful Christ-like response and bring hope through the actions they can take. Lenten Campaign 2025 - A Time for Hope

This Lent, we’re inviting all SVP members to go deeper in prayer and take action as Pilgrims of Hope. Our Lenten pack includes a Reconciliation Service, Weekly 2 minute reflection videos for use in form time, and the SVP Lenten Campaign Materials. We’d love to hear your campaign stories! Don’t forget to tag us on social media with #DoorsofHope and send any stories for our e-news to [email protected].

Things are changing quickly, so we don’t have all the campaign details just yet. Check back after the February half-term for more information and to download the full pack. You’ll be able to see some of the resources now, which should help with your Lent planning, but be sure to download the finalized ones after the half-term.
